Q: Hey Jamie, hope you're keeping well. Just wondering how you balance your academic life while making time to work out each day. I'm really good about staying fit in the summer, but whenever school starts up my workout regimen usually gets thrown out the window - Wondering if you have any tips that could help me. btw love love love your ig feed! Xx

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. To be honest, I have gotten to the point where I really make the effort to prioritize the things that make me feel my best - and one of those things is working out. I don't have time to get in a workout everyday that is at 100% effort, but even if I have time to squeeze in a 30 minute workout between classes, I make it a point to go. Just consider working out or sweating as just as important as work. This is not to say that you shouldn't get your work done but rather, you should give your health, fitness, & happiness the same amount of priority. Make it a point to get in at least 30 minutes of sweating 5/7 days a way (if that is possible) and check the box each day. Don't get discouraged if it's hard to stay consistent, as so many people (even myself) struggle to balance everything. At the end of the day, if you know that you will function better after working out, then try and put it at the top of your list! I hope this helps! x
